Gardens by the Bay – Be Mesmerized

Gardens by the Bay located in Marina Garden Drive, Singapore next to the Marina Reservoir offer breath-taking waterfront views of its multi-award winning horticultural destination. Extending 101 hectares of reclaimed land, it is divided into two main areas – Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden.

Bay South Garden is the largest of the gardens. Inspired by an orchid, the layout and design resembles Singapore’s national flower, Vanda Miss Joaquim”. The main attractions in the Bay South Garden are the massive Supertrees. These tree-shaped vertical gardens are between nine to 16 storey’s tall. You can walk on the suspended walkway between two Supertrees to enjoy the view of the gardens. At a height of 22 meters and surrounded by panoramic vistas of the Gardens and Marina Bay skyline, the 128-meter long aerial walkway is an experienced not to be missed. In the evening, catch the sky show of choreographed lights and sounds at the Garden Rhapsody amidst the Supertrees.

Bay East Garden is perfect picnic setting with lush lawns and tropical palm trees. From the waterfront promenade, you will see a picturesque view of the city skyline.

Unique to Gardens by the Bay is the Cloud Forest. Within the enclosed compound, a 35-metre tall mountain is veiled in mist and covered in lush vegetation amidst the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. You will find plant life from tropical highlands up to 2,000 meters above sea level.  

Gardens by the Bay are home to more than 40 sculptures from around the world. Featuring unique pieces, intriguing crafts and stone works, these sculptures complement the beauty of the plant displays and add a new dimension to the landscape.

The natural beauty of the gardens translates indoors. Dine in style at a range of eateries across the gardens, from casual cafes to posh restaurants, all with interiors designed to reflect the splendor of Gardens by the Bay.

Gardens by the Bay opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission for OCBC Skyway for adults & Senior Citizens cost S$8.00 and for Children aged 3-12 years old is S$5.00.
